Partnership with TechIreland announced
January 22, 2020
We’re delighted to be able to announce our partnership with TechIreland, a not-for-profit organisation that seeks to promote Irish and Ireland-based innovation in the tech sector to the world.
TechIreland supports Irish startups in many ways, such as by showcasing and providing profiles on their platform, blogs, podcasts, videos, and through research content. They also provide curated introductions for startups to investors and mentors here and internationally.
TechIreland will be supporting our GoCarbonNeutral.ie initiative at their events and workshops and by sharing information about our activity to encourage their members to join our carbon neutral community.
Announcing the launch, CEO of TechIreland John O’Dea said “TechIreland strongly supports Irish Tech Goes Carbon Neutral which has the potential to make a really positive impact on our environment. Ireland has lots of catching up to do if we are to meet our Paris Agreement goals.”
John Beckett, founder of GoCarbonNeutral.ie said “TechIreland are a keystone in the tech community in Ireland. We’re hugely grateful for the support and encouragement they’ve provided from the beginning, and are excited to partner with them officially to encourage further uptake of tree planting by the tech community here.”
